Important Information About REBarCampTO2011
Even though the event will be in the centre of Toronto just off the DonValley Parkway, here are a few things you may not know:
First, there is a lot of Parking…however, it is a $6 charge for 12 hours and tickets are easily accessed through a number of machines on-site. Should you decide to come by Subway, you can go to the Broadview Station on the Bloor line and there is a Shuttle Bus to take you to the Evergreen Brickworks. The schedule is attached but you can also view it on the Evergreen Brick Works web site….I have also attached the Shuttle bus location at the Broadview Station.
When you arrive at the Brickworks you will head to the Young Welcome Centre for registration (make sure you bring your ticket/tickets with you). There will be a continental breakfast supplied by our caterer Daniel et Daniel and coffee, water, etc. available all day. There will also be a bag lunch provided during the noon-time break and we encourage you to take a look at the facilities and the Parks that surround the Brick Works. Hopefully, it will be a sunny warm day but even if not, there are lots of canopied spaces that can be enjoyed. There are two very large areas on the main floor, three great classrooms on the second floor and an outdoor covered balcony to enjoy.
Hopefully you will find the location as exciting as the organisers have. Remember that an REBarCamp also depends on the energy that you, the attendee adds to it! You and Our Sponsors make this event possible.
We look forward to seeing you May 3rd, 2011 at the Evergreen Brick Works.
