Doug has been teaching around the States and Canada over the past few years and will be in Toronto for REALTORQuest. He has agreed to drop in to REBarCampTO and share some of his great knowledge on May 3rd, 2011 at the Evergreen Brickworks and looks forward to meeting you.
Doug has been hired to speak in 32 states (and counting) helping real estate professionals make sense of using the latest technology. Doug is a past Business Leader of the Year of the Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneur of the Year of the University of Missouri Business School and recent inductee into the REBAC Hall of Fame.
Doug is going to share affordable, flexible and easy to implement solutions even for the most frazzled, technologically challenged broker as well as for those who would never think of going to the bathroom in the middle of the night without checking their e-mail.
Doug lives in St. Louis, Missouri, Starwood Hotels, and has killed his four plants from being away 200+ days a year. His goals are to cook more often, stop the plant abuse, travel the world learning while he teaches while making his Mom proud.
Doug is the first speaker on this video from REBarCamp San Francisco in 2009, the 1st Anniversary of REBarCamp. Check it out if you do not know what to expect from a BarCamp…

One of the stars of Social Media has agreed to come to Toronto for REBarCampTO to share some of his thoughts.
Dale Chumbley is a 2nd generation REALTOR in Vancouver, Washington who has been selling real estate since 1994. He also spent 8 years working in the Clark County Department of Assessment & GIS in the Land Records Department. This experience gives Dale a knowledge and expertise that no other Realtor in Clark County, WA has. He is the founder and daily host of 365 Things To Do In Vancouver, WA on Facebook. Dale is recognized nationally for his mix of traditional real estate and technologically cutting edge marketing. Most recently he was named by Inman News one of the 100 Most Influential Real Estate Leaders in the country for 2010. He is a lifelong Vancouver, WA resident. In his spare time, Dale enjoys organizing interactive real estate education events, teaching others how to leverage social media to expand their online reach in a way that hopefully expands their face to face interactions, photography, and sharing his city with anyone who will pay attention.
We are busy working on a full program with more updates in the upcoming days to come.Stay tuned!

Even though the event will be in the centre of Toronto just off the DonValley Parkway, here are a few things you may not know:
First, there is a lot of Parking…however, it is a $6 charge for 12 hours and tickets are easily accessed through a number of machines on-site. Should you decide to come by Subway, you can go to the Broadview Station on the Bloor line and there is a Shuttle Bus to take you to the Evergreen Brickworks. The schedule is attached but you can also view it on the Evergreen Brick Works web site….I have also attached the Shuttle bus location at the Broadview Station.
When you arrive at the Brickworks you will head to the Young Welcome Centre for registration (make sure you bring your ticket/tickets with you). There will be a continental breakfast supplied by our caterer Daniel et Daniel and coffee, water, etc. available all day. There will also be a bag lunch provided during the noon-time break and we encourage you to take a look at the facilities and the Parks that surround the Brick Works. Hopefully, it will be a sunny warm day but even if not, there are lots of canopied spaces that can be enjoyed. There are two very large areas on the main floor, three great classrooms on the second floor and an outdoor covered balcony to enjoy. Read more
